DevOps / SRE Engineer (CDI)
Lum Network is looking for a DevOps / Site Reliability Engineer to participate in the development of the blockchain protocol alongside its associated tools, resources and applications.
You will be part of an experienced team at a small an efficient scale (10-15 people) delivering products and services used by thousands of companies and end-users on a daily basis.
Key accountabilities
Ensure the stability, availability, alerting and monitoring of all deployed resources and especially the main-net Lum Network nodes
Participate in the accessibility and self-deployment capabilities of all the open source tools dedicated to the Lum Network community
Improve and automate processes such as builds, CI/CD and tests
Ensure exemplarity in code quality through thorough technical reviews (pull requests)
Collaborate on work organisation with the rest of the Product and Engineering teams (task management, priority reviews, experimental features)
Write technical documentation (design documents and technical proposals, change logs)
Help with recruiting more awesome engineers by interviewing candidates and improving existing processes (new exercises, scorecard changes)
Required skills and knowledge
Advanced knowledges in system administration: cloud instances, load balancing, object / block storage etc...
Experience using deployment automation tools & softwares alongside orchestrators such as: Ansible / Puppet / Chef
Experience designing, maintaining and delivering advanced network configurations (vLans, VPCs, VPNs, Firewalls...)
Experience using or working with Kubernetes (Docker) and ArgoCD is a plus
Experience using or working with decentralized technologies is a big plus
About you
2+ years of professional experience working with any of the technologies (or similar) mentioned in the previous section
Self-motivated and able to work independently
Love to write clean, reusable code, especially when it is open-sourced
Solid communication skills (in English) and team-working capability
Positive and logical approach together with willingness to learn
Attention to detail and a passion for quality
Strong interest in blockchain & cryptocurrency technologies

Contract

Compensation : 45k+ depending on seniority
